DRANCKRAZY Tsuchinoko

The DRANCKRAZY Tsuchinoko is a 3-inch finesse soft bait named for the tsuchinoko, the stubby, fat-bodied snake of Japanese folklore. Its plump, ribbed body tapers to a thin, curled tail. Hooked through the head on a small light-wire hook it gives off a constant shiver, and it also works weightless or wacky-rigged. Because the body is flattened, hooking it vertically or sideways changes how it moves and falls, which gives two different looks for pressured bass. The head shape, borrowed from Japanese black sea bream fishing, is meant to make the hook less noticeable.
