The Evergreen WH-8 is the deep member of Morizo Shimizu's Wild Hunch crankbait family, sold in Japan as the Wild Hunch 8 Footer. It keeps the bite-triggering wobble-and-roll of the original Wild Hunch but reaches roughly 6 to 8 feet, so it can dig along bottom, rock and wood below the range of the shallower models. A large 3D lip grabs the water and glances off hard cover, and two big tungsten weights fixed low in a slightly fuller body give it good casting distance without a weight-transfer system.
