The Keitech Flex Chunk is a soft plastic chunk trailer made to give a jig the action of an old-style pork trailer, without the mess and without drying out. When the jig lands and the skirt flares, the two thick, leaf-shaped legs settle slowly and keep moving, the lingering fall that jig anglers used to get from pork. Cross-cut segments let the legs flex at the slightest movement of the jig and push plenty of water. The soft material has a little salt added so it falls slowly, and it is loaded with squid scent.

  • Size: Medium, 3.2 in, about 6.5 g (0.23 oz) each
  • Pack: 6 trailers
  • Recommended jig hook: 1/0 to 2/0
  • Material: soft plastic with added salt and squid scent
  • Legs: thick, segmented legs joined at the tips by a small factory lock that keeps them straight in the pack; pull it apart by hand before fishing
  • Rigging: Keitech recommends threading it onto the hook like a jighead bait rather than just nose-hooking it
