The Megabass Dogmax is a big 130 mm topwater walker that Megabass calls the "Great Mother" of its Dog-X series. It is built on founder Yuki Ito's design principles and was refined in U.S. tournament waters alongside Brandon Palaniuk. A patented Split-Center-of-Gravity Seesaw Balancer drives hard, torque-filled turns that displace a lot of water, while a Tandem Inertia Balancer powers long glides, so a small twitch can swing the bait 180 degrees or more across the surface like a fleeing baitfish. The Water-Through Gill bites into the water for stability and makes a feeding-like boil, and internal weights knock together for a hard sound that reaches fish holding deeper.
