The Megabass X-70 is a small, flat-sided minnow jerkbait tuned to suspend just 1 to 2 ft down, with a wide side-to-side dart. That makes it a fit for rivers, flats, shallow docks and other skinny water where most jerkbaits run too deep. The flat sides flash hard and help it hold its depth under an aggressive jerking cadence, a straight retrieve gives a flickering swim, and in current it can be dead-drifted and twitched like a hurt baitfish. Megabass suggests bait-finesse tackle with braid to a 4 to 6 lb fluorocarbon leader.
