The Nomad Design Badlands is a heavy-cover swim jig for fishing thick grass, pads and brush. Its vertical line tie gives it a smooth, natural swimming action, and the head is shaped to skip, so you can send it far back under overhanging cover and then swim it out. A stout, extra-heavy hook and a snag-resistant fiber weed guard let it come through heavy vegetation and still pull fish out, and the hand-tied skirt with 3D eyes can be trimmed to the length you want. The jig was designed with MLF Bass Pro Tour angler Gerald Spohrer.
