The Nomad Design Cobra Shad is a fluke-style soft jerkbait from Nomad's Live Ops freshwater range. Its angled, flared wings make it dart sharply from side to side and kick upward like a fleeing baitfish, and a very thin forked tail keeps it moving at slow speeds. It uses Nomad's Adjusta-Ball system: small tungsten balls pushed into chambers in the belly set the sink rate and balance, so the bait can fall level instead of nose-first without a heavy jighead. It rigs weedless on a worm hook through a nose channel, with a hook slot and belly marker dots showing where the hook goes, which suits skipping under overhanging cover or working it on top.
