Scum Runner marks Scum Frog's move into soft plastic toad baits, a topwater with a thin, panfish-shaped body and legs that kick hard. Worked across pads, grass or open water, the legs beat slowly but stir up heavy surface commotion and leave a long trail of bubbles behind. Slits cut into the top and bottom of the body let it be rigged weedless on an EWG or spring-lock hook for skipping under docks and working through cover, or it can be fished on a buzzbait instead. Artist Andrew Gardner painted the hatch-matching color patterns, right down to fins, eyes and gill plates.
