The D2 Jig is Dudley's original marabou jig. It was first tied in northeast Arkansas in the 1970s and is known on the White River as the original marabou trout jig. Leland's Lures now sells it under the Trout Magnet name in partnership with D2 Jigs. Each jig is tied by hand to look like the small food trout eat, from baby trout and sculpins to crayfish and leeches, and its head comes from its own mold, so the jig spirals like an injured baitfish as it sinks.
