The Megabass Destroyer P5 F7-75X BMG is a US-model heavy casting rod for dragging the bottom with swing heads, football jigs and Carolina rigs. Compared with its sibling, the F6-73X FMJ, it has a slightly softer tip so fish do not feel unnatural tension when they pick up the bait, while the blank still loads with the power needed to control heavy jigs and drive hooks home. The Destroyer P5 series is built on Megabass's 5D graphite system, a blank made from five purpose-cut panels that each add a different kind of strength or stiffness, and uses the lightweight Destroyer Head Locking System 3, the IBCS reel seat with a short trigger for easy grip changes, and Fuji titanium-frame SiC-S guides.
