The Megabass Orochi X10 F4-68XT Jabberwock is a 6 ft 8 in medium-light casting rod for fast-moving baits: Vision Oneten jerkbaits, Deep-X crankbaits, vibration baits, spinnerbaits and bladed jigs, plus long casts with mid-size topwater plugs. Under light load it has a sharp, fast taper for sensitivity, and as the load builds the bend moves deeper toward a regular taper to absorb surging fish. The Orochi X10 blank wraps a flax-based organic fiber layer (X10) from the rear grip to the mid-section over a lightweight Destroyer-grade carbon core; the flax fibers damp unwanted blank shake for a cleaner feel and add shock resistance. The reel-seat hood is machined from solid aluminum.
