Mustad Alpha-Grip Assault Hook

Mustad built the Alpha-Grip Assault around its existing Assault wide-gap hook pattern, then added the Alpha-Grip keeper, a small pin on the shank, to hold a soft plastic bait from sliding down so the rig stays intact through cast after cast. The wide-gap shape and sharp Tak-bend angle pin the bait tight against the point, which keeps weeds from catching on a Texas or Carolina rig and still leaves the plastic room to swing free when a bass strikes. The same hook also suits a weightless swimming presentation.
