Erimaki Shad is O.S.P's small, minnow-shaped soft plastic, built around a flared collar the maker names the Scarf. Floatation in the body is strong enough that, fished with no added weight, the bait rides right on top for bass keyed on the surface; the Scarf grabs water as the lure moves so it does not travel far on a twitch, and that same twitch throws droplets off it the way a popper would. Threaded onto a jig head instead, it becomes a mid-depth swimbait for days when fish are hard to tempt.
