Shimano Outlier Swimbait Rods

Shimano's Outlier swimbait rods are purpose-built for throwing big swimbaits and glide baits. Each model is matched to a specific range of bait sizes and weights, so you get the right balance of casting power, flex, and backbone for the baits you throw.

Shimano's Spiral X Core construction makes the blank strong and resistant to twisting and crushing without adding weight, and Hi-Power X adds an X-shaped carbon wrap that reduces blank twist on the cast and hookset for better accuracy and power. The result is a rod that loads smoothly to launch heavy baits a long way, then has the muscle to drive hooks home and control big fish.
